I have been wagering on the net or at land based gambling halls for many years. I have learned, the addiction is able to take a hold of you and you will not even notice it up till you are broke. Notably if you are on a scoring streak. I have been through many tens of thousands of dollars in just a short period of time and still on occasion, I can go a bit too far. It feels like you are just enjoying yourself till you make a choice to track your loss and the blame settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I am able to gain it back" again and again. It does not work. Then you get icky in your abdomen and the harder you try the more rapidly you lose.
When you find that you are ahead, STAY in the Black! When you start to fritter away, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe 1 more" and again and again, believe in me, this plan RARELY ever operates. Say you plan on gambling on slots, have an amount separate prior to beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that range, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in an alternate pot. Do not bet your earnings no matter what. After you have wagered through your original set range, stop. Leave, regardless if it’s on the web or at a real life gambling den, do not stick at the tables or machines. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, another time. Clearly, this technique is able to function for any game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, 21 or any other game.
Keep in mind, gambling is supposed to be exciting not burdensome, appalling work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you can’t afford the hit, don’t ever start.
