The biggest of the Iowa casinos is the Meswaki Bingo Casino Hotel, an American Indian gambling hall in Tama, with 127,669 sq.ft. of gaming area, 1,500 slot machines, thirty table games, like blackjack, craps, roulette, and baccarat, and several varieties of poker; as well as three dining rooms, daily shows, and gambling advice. Another big Amerindian gambling den is the Winna Vegas, with 45,000 square feet, 668 slot machines, and 14 table games. In addition, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs never closes, with 38,500 sq.ft., 1,589 one armed bandits, 36 table games, and 4 eatery’s. There are several other dominant Iowa casinos, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a river based casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend Riverboat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa riverboat gambling hall, The Isle of Capri, is available never closes, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. riverboat gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday blackjack tournaments.
Iowa casinos present an awesome deal of tax money to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a lot of commonwealth wide activities. Tourism has gotten bigger at an accelerated percentage along with the demand for services and a growth in employment. Iowa gambling dens have been helpful to the growth of the market, and the affection for gaming in Iowa is across the board.
