Learning From My Wagering Blunders
Wednesday, 30. December 2009
First to clarify the reason I wrote this article. I have been gambling on the web or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the dependency can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are flat broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a tiny period of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you are just having fun until you start to pay attention to your squanderings and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you become sick in your stomach and the harder you try the faster you lose.
When you see that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this method hardly ever functions. Say you’re playing on slot games, have a bankroll put aside before starting your action. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how alluring. If you happen to win, put that in a different cup. Don’t use your profits no matter what. Once you have played through your primary set limit, stop. Head out, whether it is on the web or at a land based betting house, don’t stay around. Always remember, there will be another day, another time.
Remember, wagering should be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not afford the loss, don’t even begin.
